Abstract face art using aquacolour
Abstract painting on the face using strong shapes and colour
interpreting Karl Schmidt/Peter Keil using aqua colour water based product to
do this. This look was based on a mixture of peter keils work and Karl Schmidt
who are both German artists from the 1920’s who painted abstract portraits
using bright vivid movements and colours to really make there paintings stand
out. For the look I created I took elements from both artists work, using
similar colours to Peter Keils work and then taking elements of the line like
movements of Schmidt’s work. To do this I used the aqua colour palette using a
small amount of water mixed to make it more liquidised so I could create
movements once on the face the aqua colour dries quickly and doesn’t smudge.
