Sketch and face chart

This was a very quick sketch I created from a similar image off Google of a fun cabaret dancer. I drew and painted bits of it smudging it out using the space using very quick movements just to get a slight caricature feel to it like some of the artists of this time created. I wanted to draw an image of a cabaret dancer because at the minute I am thinking about the idea of potentially creating an image based on a cabaret dancer or at least with the same styling of a cabaret dancer. Below I have also done a quick face chart look of a cabaret dancer look I wanted this to be quite dark and smudges as if they have had a long night.

Videos showcasing diversity..

These are some videos that showcase diversity and some great make up skills showing how make up can change an appearance and make somebody into anybody they want to be. The first video is a video from the brand Vichy dermablend which is a great high coverage make up used to cover things such as tattoos, birthmarks and scaring and various other things, the video is called 'Go beyond the cover' The first link will take you to the video for the campaign which is a really great video so watch. The second you tube link I have put up is for another video by Ellis Faas called a family affair this video is great and has really clever and really great abstract art like make up which at the end is peeled of and we realise its been like a mask on the persons face.
